“My Chat with a Bank CEO” is an unprecedented social media event organised and coordinated by the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA).

Hundreds of people have registered to participate in the #CEOChat sessions during which different bank Chief Executive Officers share information and receive feedback on various aspects of banking. In 2020, the Association conducted three editions of the chat, bringing on board CEOs from Standard Chartered Bank, Gulf African Bank and I&M Bank, Citibank, Stanbic Bank, and NCBA Bank. The successful chats were covered on social media and online, providing the individual banks PR value and underlining the industry’s collective contribution to the industry in thought leadership and customers’ support.

Under the theme: “Supporting Post Covid-19 Enterprise Recovery, Resilience’’ the next chat has been scheduled for this month (May, 2021) and will feature three CEOs who will engage the public on industry initiatives banks have taken to cushion the banking public against the challenges created on businesses by the Coronavirus disease disruption in the country.
