Mr. Gachora has several years of experience in executive management positions at various global companies in Corporate and Investment Banking, Structuring and Financial Engineering, Commercial Banking and Financial services. He is a Director of several other companies and previously served as a Managing Director at Bank of America Securities and as Managing Director, Corporate and Investment Banking at Barclays Africa prior to joining the NCBA Group. Mr. Gachora holds Bachelor of Science and Masters in Engineering degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA and an MBA degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Samuel Kimani is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jamii Bora Bank Ltd. He has previously held senior management positions in the financial services industry. He is a member of ICPAK and holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a BSc in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Nairobi, and Harvard. He is a CPA (K).
Mr. Kimani has a wealth of experience in the banking industry having served as the as Deputy CEO and Finance Director of the KCB Group. Prior to this, he served at the Central Bank of Kenya as Deputy Chief Banking Manager, Deputy Director Financial Markets, Principle Financial Accountant, and the Chief Internal Auditor. He also headed the Surveillance Division of the Deposit Protection Fund. He previously served as a Senior Auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Kimani sits on the boards of the Central Depository and Settlement Corporation (CDSC), is the Chairperson of Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), and is a member of the University of Stellenbosch Executive Education Advisory Board (USB-AB). He is married with three children.
